This is an almost-weekly go-to craft project at my house: gluing wiggly eyes and sparkly sequins to wooden craft sticks with Elmer's glue and glitter glue.
We do this project over and over and over again. It's pretty self explanatory, as you can see from the pictures. It basically includes portioning out the supplies listed above and letting the kiddos have at it. Occasionally some gluing help or finger-wiping assistance is requested by my little creators, but that's about it.
Thank goodness for super-simple craft projects! Especially on these cold winter mornings in New England, when I find myself indoors for several hours at a stretch with two almost-two-year-olds.
The end result is nothing to write home about. But that's not the point. The point is that they love the process, their little minds and fingers focused and at work.
And perhaps I can enjoy witnessing my children, engaged and content, while drinking a hot cup of tea for a whole ten minute stretch. Or maybe, just maybe, fifteen. Ahhhh....

Love how u feed creativity to your children...and then mine!!
