Beautiful post. I began blogging several years ago to begin the capture of my life as a Grandma, a Boomer, a woman who's found the 12-year-old in me again, willing to try just about anything. I'm a diarist, of sorts... I guess. I've, as of late, found myself blogging A LOT about caregiving; caregiving my Mom, and the emotions that go along with this, the love I have for my Mother in her vulnerable years, and the challenges and great blessings that caregiving brings to me, my heart and my soul. I wish I could attend LTYM today and soak in the journeys, the stories... but one of my 9 (soon to be 10) grandkids is celebrating his First Communion today. It's these little pieces of joy, of rights-of-passage, of love that keep me smiling. And writing. Break a leg today! I'm so looking forward to "seeing" the event by way of our great technology!
