I'm so proud of you for sharing your incredible story. For opening up and letting your soul shine. For standing up on that stage and standing up for others who suffered the same pain. You are a true talent, Jenn. And I'm so proud to be your LTYM sister. Although the video is up now, my memory of our time together on that stage...from rehearsal to final show, will last a lifetime. And I feel like I gained a friend through it all. xxoo

Thanks, Jackie! I am so glad the show brought us together, too!

This is wonderful Jenn! So proud of you. Good for you for speaking out as a survivor of sexual assault. I think the percentages of women who go through this are huge, and vastly under reported. I am also a survivor of sexual assault, and sometimes share that story as a way to let go of its hold over me (though it is someone who will always be in my life so I am careful about it). The more we speak out, the more powerful we are.

Thanks, Kirsten. And I know what you mean about how talking about something difficult can diffuse its power. Very wise words. And I completely agree that the number of women who go through this sort of experience are much larger than we know.
